Sacred space for your journey home.
“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
― Maya Angelou
We're all born whole.
Have you ever experienced a life change, trauma, or loss that you simply can’t make sense of? That shakes your sense of solid ground? That makes it hard to be present in your body? To stay connected to what and whom you care about most? I hold sacred space for your journey home to your deepest sense of self.
Hi, I’m Jess.
I see myself as a human first and a therapist second and feel gratitude to be a witness to the work clients do. I have training in somatic experiencing, attachment-focused EMDR, ecotherapy, and trauma-informed yoga. I like to co-create sacred healing space, gently facilitating new experiences for clients to reconnect to their inner guidance.
I try to bring compassion and humor to every session so clients can feel comforted and supported in accessing their vulnerability. I am deeply passionate about facilitating nature reconnection and eco-somatic experiences 1:1 with clients and in groups for individual and collective healing.
“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”
― Paul Coelho
Let’s work together.
-
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is an experiential approach where clients actively process emotion and past experiences. I work with clients who may be feeling stressed, dysregulated, burnt out, disconnected, pain in the body, and unprocessed grief. Clients gain a toolbox of skills to increase their ability to be regulated in the present.
-
Ecotherapy
Ecotherapy utilizes our connection to the earth to explore who we are, what matters to us, and how we relate. I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, hopeless or lost in their lives and over the state of the world. Clients reconnect to the cycles of the earth for insight, meaning, and belonging.
