Coming home to the body…
Many of the challenges we experience with anxiety, stress, or disconnection aren’t just in the mind — they live in the body.
In a culture that prioritizes doing over being, we learn to push through. We override our emotions, ignore our needs, and disconnect from our bodies to survive. Over time, this survival strategy can lead to burnout, chronic dysregulation, and emotional pain that feels stuck.
Somatic Coaching offers a path back to yourself — one that’s grounded in presence, body awareness, and compassionate change.
“And I said to my body softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’
It took a long breath and replied,
‘I have been waiting my whole life for this.’”
— Nayyirah Waheed
When the Body Gets Stuck…
You may notice:
Feeling anxious, reactive, or constantly “on”
Dropping into collapse, fatigue, or emotional shutdown
Cycling between extremes — always in survival mode
Feeling like you can’t “think your way out” of your stress
This is the body’s wisdom at work. It’s doing what it learned to do to keep you safe — and it may be time to update the story.
Thanks to neuroplasticity, your nervous system can learn new ways of responding. You can repattern old survival strategies, widen your window of tolerance, and experience more ease, connection, and resilience.
What is somatic coaching?
Somatic Coaching is an experiential, body-based approach that bridges the gap between your physical sensations, emotional patterns, and mental habits. Unlike traditional talk therapy, it incorporates:
Movement and posture awareness
Breathwork and grounding techniques
Nervous system tracking
Emotion-focused and body-based inquiry
Gentle reprocessing of unresolved experiences
It’s especially supportive for individuals who:
Struggle with anxiety, stress, or chronic overwhelm
Feel disconnected from their body or intuition
Have a history of developmental trauma or emotional neglect
Are ready to go deeper than cognitive insight — into embodied change

Together, we’ll rebuild your connection to your body, your sense of self, and the rhythms of your life — so that healing feels less like fixing, and more like remembering.
“When your felt sense of a situation changes, you change -
and, therefore, so does your life.”
― Eugene Gendlin
